- Ceftriaxone is more than gentamycin/metronidazole prophylaxis in during wound & urinary tract infections after bowel operations
- Sulbactum inhibited the beta-lactamase degradation of ceftriaxone & enhanced the killing by ceftriaxone
- Subactum & Ceftrixone are of simial prophylactic efficacy in the prevention of surgical-site infections after neurosurgery
- Clinical & bacteriological response was satisfactory in 100% of sulbactum-treated patients & in 93% of the ceftrixone-treated patient for treatment of tissue & skeletal infections in children
